Mill Cottage… the name says it all really. A gracious old stone building, once the stables of the famous Bunnow Mill, now converted into a cosy and welcoming dwelling. The perfect place to hide away, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, a base from which to explore the magnificent Kingdom of Kerry.
The gentle river Finglas flows right beside the house, and you can eat al fresco on the jetty listening to the chatter of birds and the timeless talk of the river flowing over the stones. Or you can dine on the terrace beside the orchard, a completely secluded and safe walled garden, with ancient apple and fig trees a-plenty.
Within five minutes walk are delightful and safe beaches, with an amazing variety of birdlife, winter and summer, and vast expanse of walks for your morning constitutionals!
Take a trip into Upper Camp, or further afield to Castlegregory for provisions, and maybe sample some of the wonderful hostelries nearby, the perfect place for a quiet pint by turf fires, friendly chat, and music.
Whatever you choose, Mill Cottage will welcome you , and cast it’s cosy spell!
